The Rosadigitale movement, from October 6th to 21, 2018, participated in “Europe Code Week“: the European programming week.
The event, born thanks to the initiative of volunteers, is a campaign of functional literacy promoted by the European Community to stimulate the development of computational thinking and to disseminate coding in educational institutions.
Rosadigitale, on this occasion, wanted to give its contribution by launching “Rosadigitale for Code Week“, the online event to raise awareness for gender equality in the technological field, organized with the comprehensive institute n ° 1 Don Lorenzo Milani of La Spezia.
The event consists of remixing the project in the Scratch site, adding a simple photo, a sentence, a music that characterizes the country where you live and many other things to your liking.

“Rosadigitale for Code Week”, with the involvement of many teachers who are part of the Facebook group “EU Code Week Teachers“, have reached over 3000 participants among teachers and European schools.
